CYCLING ALONG DANUBE IN 2010

The Danube is the second longest river in Europe.  A well marked bicycle path (the Donau Radweg) follows the Danube from its source at Donaueschingen in Germany to Vienna in Austria. The path continues on to Budapest but we did not follow it. Instead we went to Salzburg and cycled the river Enns (the Enns Radweg). The path is easy cycling and there is plenty of accommodation at the many towns and villages en route.
