After collecting our bike bags at Zurich airport we carted them across to the airport shopping center where we recharged the expired SIM cards from our previous Switzerland trip.

Then we rang Gabriela, who had agreed to ferry us from the airport to her B&B , and were pleasantly surprised to find she was already there waiting.

The B&B was in a sixteenth century house overlooking the Rhine at Eglisau. Glen assembled the bikes in Gabriela's garage and then we walked around the town before having lunch at a restaurant by the river.

We went for a short bike ride to check out the bikes and then went back to the accommodation intending to change for dinner but tiredness got the better of us and we woke up 12 hours later.

Gabriela had prepared a tremendous breakfast with fresh bread, cold meats, cheeses and more which made up for our missed dinner.
