Our cycling tour in the Netherlands and Belgium started on September 3, 2006 with our arrival in Amsterdam. After a few days of sightseeing in and around Amsterdam we took the train to Apeldoorn and cycled to our first overnight stop near Brummen. Over the next 4 weeks we cycled up and down the Netherlands and to Brugge in Belgium. The bicycle ride exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed fantastic weather.
