In the morning we
cooked scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast and then
took the train to The Hague (Den Haag).
We got off one station too soon and walked several kilometers
through a rather seedy area until we found the center.
The Mauritzhuis is a small art gallery,
but has a fine collection of Rembrandt's and Vemeeers,
particularly Vermeer's. We didn't spend long in Den
Haag, after visiting the museum we took the train
back
to Delft. We had dinner that night at Jill's,
it was excellent with good food, good service and
best
of all a non-smoking dining room. |
