When we awoke it was raining heavily.
Cycling all day was out of the question so we put on
our full rain gear and cycled the 3km to Heiden and
took the train to Rorschach. The train was a single
carriage and the friendly driver cheerfully helped us
on with our bikes.
During our 40 minute wait at Rorschach we were pleased
to see that every train had wide doors and level entry
so bikes could be wheeled on fully loaded. Our train
was the first (and last) we saw that had narrow doors
and steep steps.
We got off at Bad Ragaz where the weather was fine.
